This employee will be responsible for performing various assigned duties when work is available. The laborer will have an established schedule throughout the maintenance route. Other duties include but are not limited to operating job-specific equipment, such as weed-eaters, tractors, push mowers, edgers, chain saws, and hand tools. This individual must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions. The position is assigned to a 40 + hour work schedule, which is typically Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm when work is available. This schedule is subject to change during a holiday week or for emergency service which may require working a flexible schedule with little or no notice and may include weekends or holidays. Early morning reporting times and working during inclement weather are required. This employee must have good attendance. The physical requirements of the job are standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven surfaces, shoveling, and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Work is performed outside in all weather conditions. Also must maintain a reliable means of contact (i.e. home or cellular telephone).

In this rewarding position, you’ll have hands on access to all of the company’s resources to complete your tasks. You will be onsite with your crew and equipment, you will take ownership of your job sites, encouraging your crew to deliver outstanding site performance.
As an operations manager, you will be responsible for leading several crews, and for regular communication with your customers through site visits, field reports and one-on-one meetings. In addition to coordinating the supervisors and their crews, you will sell work orders on your sites, and support the branch manager with estimating, budgeting and customer relationship management.
